JetBlue announced in January that they will add new service between Boston and Bozeman, Montana (BZN), and between JFK and Nashville (BNA) in April and June.

United drops Washington Dulles service to Elmira, New York after just one year.
JetBlue announces new flight between Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA) and Martha’s Vineyard (MVY). The route will be seasonal, operating three times a week (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) through Sept. 7
American Airlines Announces new seasonal destinations for this summer with limited frequency, but some nice options if you don’t mind American Airlines:

Delta names Boston official Hub with new direct flights to London, Paris, and Rome. Delta assumes operations of all gates in terminal A at Logan airport as of October 2019.
United announces change to its Premier Flyer program. Starting in 2020, points will no longer be based on miles or duration of flights. Points earned will be based on number of qualifying flights, which does not include basic economy, and cost. Yet another reason to jump ship from United!!
JetBlue announced that it will eliminate two routes at Reagan National Airport. The carrier’s flights to Charleston and Jacksonville will end on Oct. 26
American Express Priority Club Lounge is now open at the Buffalo NY Niagara International Airport (BUF) between gates 6 and 7.

Delta announces New York-LGA to Key West
Delta has announced new flights from BOS to O’Hare, Ronald Reagan, and Newark starting in September 2019.
United adds several new flights starting in June 2019 including: Chicago direct flights to Destin, Derango, Panama City Beach, Grand Junction, Eugene, Nova Scotia, and Redmond. Additionally United will offer flights from Houston to Derango and Ontario as well as LAX to Stockton and Washington Dulles to Traverse City.

Priority Pass Members now have access to the Lufthansa Business Lounge, North Terminal, Detroit MI. Also, Chef Geoff’s at Washington Dulles in terminal C is part of the program.
Delta adds direct flight from Detroit to Sacramento, CA as well as Columbus, OH to Salt Lake City.
United introduces direct flights from Chicago to El Paso, Bismark, Fresno, and Norfolk.
Delta Airlines announces changes for access to their lounges effective Jan. 1st 2019. You can read more by clicking here. They include:
You now can now only access the Sky Clubs with a same-day boarding pass for a Delta or Delta Partner Flight- this is a significant devaluation since you used to be able to access the Sky Club regardless of the airline you were flying
Sky Club members have lost access to Flying Blue and Virgin Australia Partner Lounges.
American Express Delta SkyMiles Gold & Platinum cardholders are now required to be traveling on Delta or Delta partners airlines to be able to pay $29 to access Delta Sky Clubs.
American Express Reserve cardholders still have free access when traveling on Delta operated or market flights as well as Delta ticket stock. If they wish to bring a guest, the guest must pay a $29 fee, and be traveling on Delta or a Delta partner airline

CLEAR is now available at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Terminal 2 (Terminal 1 coming in 2019).
Jet Blue will be adding new flights including: Boston (BOS) and Rochester, NY (ROC), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Phoenix (PHX), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and St. Maarten (SXM), and Providence, RI (PVD) and West Palm Beach (PBI)
The Cafe de Mise in Tampa terminal F is now part of Priority Pass program.

American Express Global Lounge Collection, Priority Pass – Members can use their lounge visit entitlement to receive $28 off the bill of identified restaurants at airports country wide. Stephanie’s in Terminal B and Jerry Remy’s in Terminal C at Logan Airport (BOS).
Air New Zealand begins flights between O’Hare and Auckland in November. I normally don’t announce international, but love New Zealand…so this is great!
Montrose-Telluride Regional Airport (MTJ) in Colorado will begin offering direct flights in December to DFW, CLT, SLC, and PHX. Anyone want to go skiing?

Delta announces new direct flight between BOS and LAS as well as BOS and PHL, starting October 1st.
Alaska Airlines has eliminated preflight alcoholic beverages for first-class passengers, a standard perk on other carriers. The new policy took effect Aug. 1.

United announces that they will offer direct flight from Dulles to Tel Aviv on a 292-seat Boeing 777-200 starting in May 2019.
American Airlines will end service between its Miami hub and Washington Dulles in December 2018, however United Airlines will replace the route once daily.
American Airlines will drop unpopular carry-on bag restrictions from its cheap no-frills fares in September, calling the rules “uncompetitive” in the market.
CLEAR opens at Phoenix Airport (PHX) at Terminal 4 and will be available at all terminals by end of August. Way to go PHX!
Sun Country Airlines announced that it will begin service from Santa Barbara to Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) on August 16, 2018 and Frontier Airlines announced its entrance to Santa Barbara with service to Denver International Airport (DEN) on August 21.
Sun Country Airlines announces that it will be offering nonstop service from Madison (MSN) to Southwest Florida International Airport and to Tampa International Airport. These seasonal flights to Fort Myers will operate twice per week, departing Mondays and Fridays, starting Sept. 28.
